Highlights from the Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium Held at Harare Institute of Technology
Grosscare International attended the Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium (ZULC) Assistive Technologies Training Workshop held at the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) on 29–30 June 2026.
The two-day workshop brought together librarians and information professionals from more than 22 state universities across Zimbabwe to explore assistive technologies that promote inclusive access to education for students with disabilities.
The event featured presentations and hands-on sessions covering a range of assistive technologies, including screen readers, Braille devices, accessible keyboards, reading pens, and other accessibility solutions aimed at enhancing library services.
Grosscare International was pleased to be part of this important event, engaging with stakeholders and supporting conversations around improving accessibility and inclusion within Zimbabwe’s higher education sector.
